In December 2023, Wildlife Unlimited began the process of transitioning to a not-for-profit conservation organisation. We are fortunate to retain the core team and a skilled group of regular field staff.

Claire has managed complex ecological programs with Wildlife Unlimited since 2011, expertly coordinating teams in remote environments. Her collaborative approach has built strong partnerships across government and private sectors. With extensive experience in Eastern Victoria's ecosystems, Claire brings deep knowledge of flora, fauna, and vegetation communities. She is particularly passionate about threatened species habitat requirements and survey techniques, including work with Greater Glider, Pookila (New Holland Mouse), and Watsons Tree Frog.

As founder of Mallee Conservation, she also works to protect Australia's largest Mallee Bronze Azure butterfly population. Fiona advocates for private land conservation and serves as secretary of Land Covenantors Victoria.

With a PhD studying invasive species adaptations in northern Australia, his specialist interests include drone applications in ecology, amphibians, and species evolution. Recent projects include the Crocodile Islands Ranger training and Watson's Tree Frog ecology.

Simon is integral to the Wildlife Unlimited team conducting surveys, including remote camera monitoring and spotlighting, for several clients. These projects require ecological knowledge of the target species, strong 4WD skills and navigation through rugged and remote landscapes. 

Simon is also an accomplished hunter and an excellent marksman with a strong focus on safety. He is extremely fit and capable of operating in remote and rugged terrain, and has an excellent knowledge of target species’ ecology and behaviour.

Simon is also an accomplished hunter and an excellent marksman with a strong focus on safety. He is extremely fit and capable of operating in remote and rugged terrain, and has an excellent knowledge of target species’ ecology and behaviour.
