Welcome back the birds – community event
Wildlife Unlimited is excited to be part of Welcome Back the Birds – a community event hosted by the East Gippsland Management Authority to celebrate the return of migratory birds to the Gippsland Lakes.

Time: 11 am – 7 pm*
Delve into the world of macroinvertebrates, mammals and birds with Wildlife Unlimited. Experienced ecologists will provide information about local species with specimens to explore, bird-watching opportunities and walks through the reserve.
Find out about Wildlife Unlimited’s Threatened Species projects, such as Spot-tailed quoll monitoring and Sheoak revegetation for Glossy Black Cockatoos, as well as our partnerships against pests project, aiming to create a unified approach to managing fox populations.
*Wildlife Unlimited will have a stall at the event all day (11 to 5 pm) Laura is doing walk and talks at the times listed
